"Conscilience", 2017

This piece was built using programmed and traditional art making methods and employs infrared sensing in order to allow for interaction. The piece reveals digital sculptures that were built “by hand” in a virtual reality environment that can only be viewed when activated by the viewer.

The artwork is not passive, its existence is bound by the relationship to it’s viewer in the present, and explores the role of observation and hierarchy between supposed animate and inanimate objects.
