Molly Vidor is among one of the most talented painters in the Northwest. With a deft handling of paint Ms. Vidor builds layer upon layer of oil paint on canvas, resulting in rich, luscious paintings that are more akin to impressionism than abstraction. Her paintings are wonder of space and sensation; of beauty and mystery.
“Sometimes I live in the country,
Sometimes I live in the town,
Sometimes I have a great notion
To jump in the river and drown."
- Huddie Ledbetter & John Lomax
