As a French-American painter and sculptor based between Portland Oregon and Florence, Italy, my work explores the interplay of light, form, and the ephemeral beauty of the natural world.

With a B.A. in Theatre Design, I transitioned to fine art through immersive study at Charles Cecil Studios in Florence, where I mastered the sight-size method—a time-honored technique rooted in the traditions of Impressionist and Realist painters. This approach, emphasizing portraiture through observation from life under natural light and to the scale of reality, informs my work, capturing the fleeting essence of my subjects.

Parallel to my painting practice, I trained in sculpture at Galleria Romanelli Sculpture Studios, applying the principles of sight-size to three-dimensional forms. This dual discipline allows me to translate the delicate balance of light and shadow across both canvas and three dimensional objects, creating works that resonate with emotional depth and symbolic resonance.

Nature serves as my constant muse, particularly the transformative qualities of light and form—its ability to reveal, conceal, and imbue moments with meaning. My current projects include landscape and still life painting, alongside my love for nature and animals where I am working on a series to explore these themes.

I draw inspiration from everywhere, from the people I meet to the stories I hear, to the diverse landscapes and cultural energies of my travels, weaving their influences into my art.
