Looking back on 2016, what stands out for me is the vibrancy of the contemporary art scene, including artists and exhibitions both coming to and coming out of Seattle. I think of:
At Olympic Sculpture Park, a dynamic wall painting by Seattle artist Victoria Haven adorns the Paccar Pavilion; this winter, we’re launching a pilot artist residency with local movement artist Paige Barnes.
