Eight paintings on sandblasted mirrors, use six different pieces of text on the idea of negation and what it is. The texts are derived from Dionysius, The Cloud of Unknowing, Meiser Eckhart, John of the Cross, Thomas Aquinas, and Dorothy Day.
There are also two images, one of the desert and the other of the Cheyenne Indians being led on the Trail of Tears. The images and the text were chosen because of their definition of negation and their implications for meaning.
