A special presentation of Books of Nazraeli Press, published art books & monographs
Founded in Munich, Germany in 1989, and now based in Portland, Oregon, Nazraeli Press has published over 250 books to date. Specializing in books on contemporary photography, the press collaborates closely with the artists it publishes, striving to translate in an interesting and thoughtful manner the original artwork into printed form. The resulting publications are extremely varied in format: in addition to traditionally-manufactured books, the press has produced publications in Japanese scroll form; accordion-bound and dos-a-dos bindings; loose cards in plexiglass boxes; and the highly-acclaimed "One Picture Book Series," original prints from which are on display at this exhibition.
Nazraeli Press has published books with artists and writers from the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Holland, Japan, China, Korea, and Burma.
