How do we keep memories alive? Which recollections remain and which are forgotten? Memories occupy a space between the past and present where time shifts and alters perception.

These stitched and beaded works are reminders—physical records of remembered lives and experiences. Stitching and knotting mark the passage of time. In their accumulation/disintegration, minuscule glass beads form patterns of light and space.
