Opening Reception: March 7, 2026 | 3:00pm - 5:00pm | RSVP Required

This body of work, completed during the year 2025, is simply a documentation of 365 days as they unfolded. This series seeks not to focus on specific events, but rather to express the dread-laden gestalt of those days lived. During this time, it appeared as if every morning ushered in some new conflict and every night’s respite was required in order to wake the next morning to face the day.

Conflict and peace often hold hands. In their protracted partnership things are not merely only light or only dark. Some things appear true, others false and our neighbor’s understanding can differ. Our memories of “how things used to be” is easily confused with our wishes to return to the security of familiarity. However, change is constantly challenging our equilibrium.

2025 - A Logbook Through Darkness is a construct in which we may consider gravity in relation to our own personal footing. While assault and obfuscation may occur on a macro scale, it is our own internal gyroscopes which must weather the damage and attempt to right themselves.
